As a family-run SME that employs about 700 staff, we are fully aware of the importance of accountability, sustainability and social responsibility. Accordingly we decided early in 2019 to extend our certified integrated management system (IMS) for quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001) and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) by a sustainable management system according to ONR 192500, based on ISO 26000 (guidance on corporate social responsibility).
The Forster Group, one of the first companies to be certified according to ISO 14068-1, has been officially declared carbon-neutral since November 2024, as confirmed by TÜV NORD CERT.
Forster Holding GmbH and all its integrated companies have consistently reduced their CO2 emissions through a wide range of measures. We compensate for the remaining residual emissions by supporting recognised climate protection projects. Such financing helps to reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gases globally and thus protect the climate.
Forster Verkehrs- und Werbetechnik GmbH, Forster Metallbau Gesellschaft m.b.H. and Forster Industrietechnik GmbH have implemented a comprehensive quality and environmental management system and are certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Further a management system for occupational health and safety in accordance with ISO 45001 has been introduced.
